I just signed up for my membership online. How do I get my key tag?

The EarlyOn centre staff will have a key tag for you on your next visit to the EarlyOn centre. When you arrive to the EarlyON centre for the first time after creating your account: staff will do a search on your name, confirm your information and then scan a key tag which will contain your information. Any future visits will only require you to scan your keg tag to sign in

I would like to bring my child’s friend to the EarlyON Centre. Do I have to register that child under my account?

If you will regularly bring your child’s friend with you to the EarlyON Centre, you may choose to register that child under your account to make signing in easier for you. If you decide to not register that child under your account, you easily can sign them in as a guest.

I lost my key tag. Can I get a new one?

To register a new key tag, please visit any EarlyON centre and the on site staff will register a new tag for you. Once this process is complete, all of your information will be linked to the new tag.

I noticed the Kiosk asks for the age of my guest children, what if I don’t know the birthday of the guest child?

If you know the age of the child, try to narrow it down to the month and year as best you can.

I don’t know the postal code of the guest child's home address?

If the child lives somewhere near you, use your own postal code, other wise use the postal code of the EarlyON centre.

I am a parent but I also have some children that I am a caregiver for. Do I need two accounts or key tags?

No…everything is captured on the one account. When creating your account, you will be asked about your relationship to the child – whether you are a parent or caregiver. When you sign in at the centre, depending on the combination of children that are with you at that time, your attendance will be marked as a parent, caregiver or parent/caregiver.

How is my information being used?

The information collected within KEyON will be used for EarlyON planning and evaluation purposes only.

Can I bring another adult with me when I attend with my child?

Absolutely! When attending an EarlyON centre, simply add the additional adult as a guest.

Can I use the key tag at any EarlyON centre in Ontario?

You can use the key tag at any EarlyON centre using the KEyON system.

To get a new key tag or some other code to be used, can that only be done at an EarlyON centre?

That is correct. In order to have the key tag registered to your account, it must be scanned by the Kiosk system.

Will a QR code be automatically generated and sent to the parent when they create their account?

No, all codes and key tags must be registered at an EarlyON centre but if you do prefer an electronic version, you can save the code on an app such as Stocard or take a picture with your phone and then scan in using your phone.
